Exciting and important changes are now in place as to how you register to participate in Rugby League.

The NRL have updated and modernised the online platform and the online registrations opened in DECEMBER. Keep an eye out for emails from NRL in your inbox.

For the 2024 season, you will need an NRL account to register to participate in Rugby League. To make registration as easy as possible, set up an NRL account now and verify your email address.

The process takes a couple of minutes.

1. Sign up for an NRL Account

2. Check your Inbox for your verification Link

3. Go to www.playnrl.com.au to Register

 

**** For New Players : Please make sure your child's online profile has their Birth Certificate uploaded.  The name on their birth certificate MUST match their Registration name ****​

 

**** ALL Players profile's must have a current photo uploaded.  The photo needs to be a passport style image - a front on photo, displayed from shoulders up with no hats etc) ****

Kawana Junior Rugby League's fees for 2024 are $250 for U6 - U7 and $300 for U8 - U17.

This includes Polo Shirt, Training Shirt, Training Shorts Player Insurances (this is now paid directly to the Insurance Company on registration), Team Photo's, Shorts, Socks, Presentation Day, Medals/Trophies all training sessions and games.

KJRL is also registered for Fair Play Vouchers : The next date Fair Play Vouchers are now available (from 19th January 2024). Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued up to $150, which can be redeemed at KJRL.  Please visit the link below to apply :

Once you have a valid Fair Play Voucher for your child, please visit our FORMS page and click the link for the Fair Play / Get Started Voucher to upload your Voucher and submit to the club.  Once received, your Player Registration invoice will be amended accordingly.

Q: WHAT TEAM WILL MY CHILD BE IN?

A: U6 - U10 Teams will be allocated on the first training session where possible.  In the event player numbers change, there may be some changes to this throughout the first few weeks of training to ensure numbers are as even as possible throughout the teams for each age division.

   U11 - U12 teams will be allocated some weeks after training commences once Coaching staff have had time to assess player ability as per SCJRL Operations Manual to ensure teams have been divided into even player ability where possible.

   U13 - U17 teams will be graded into Divisions prior to Round 1 of the season.

Q: CAN MY CHILD BE IN THE SAME TEAM AS THEIR FRIEND?

A: Whilst we do our absolute best to make sure everyone is placed into a team to be with friends and have as much fun as possible, it is not always possible so please .... ask the question to the Coaching/Management staff at the initial training sessions but be mindful of other factors to be considered if your child isn't placed in the team of your preference.

Q: WHAT DATE IS ROUND 1 FOR THE 2021 SEASON:

A: Round 1 will be held on 12th / 13th March 2021

Q: WHEN WILL THE 2021 SEASON FINISH:

A: We will see our 2021 JRL Season come to a finish on 26/27 June 2021 for U6 - U11 age divisions and 7th August 2021 for U12 - U17 age divisions.

Q: HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT FOR MY CHILD'S FEES?

A: You have the option to make payment online after you have completed the Online Registration (NOTE: you will be prompted to make payment at this stage, but you DO NOT HAVE TO), make payment at the Club House at Sign-On Day or via bank transfer/online card payment from an Invoice raised if Registration has been completed and neither of the first 2 payment options have been used.

Q: WHEN WILL MY CHILD RECEIVE THEIR APPAREL?

A: Player on-field and off-field apparel will be handed out ONLY after their online registration and player registration fees payment have been completed.  Dates and times for this will be communicated through team Management and/or our Social Media platforms.  Further information regarding this will come soon.

    Each player will receive : KJRL Playing Socks and Playing Shorts, KJRL Club Polo Shirt and KJRL Training Shorts & Training Shirt as part of their registration.
