KJRL INTERNAL JUDICIARY

KAWANA JUNIOR DOLPHINS RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB JUDICIARY & CONDUCT REVIEW SENTENCING GUIDE

KJRL protects it Players/ Officials/ Members and Spectators by fully endorsing the ARL National Code of Conduct, the ARL Safe Play Code, the SCJRL Zero Tolerance Policy, the Wide Bay Alcohol Policy and its very own KJRL Child Protection Policy.

To ensure all parties adhere to the above mentioned policies, all members of our club have the duty of care to report any breaches of these policies to our Disciplinary Panel for review. Failure of a KJRL member  to report a offense will also be treated as a breach of the above mentioned Policies.

Attached in the "Documents" section of our website is a sentencing guide for the KJRL Judiciary panel, each case brought before the panel will be reviewed on a case by case basis and penalties handed down within the guidelines based on the severity of the offence, the individuals defence and past record. The three person Judiciary panel (KJRL Committee Members, with a minimum of two senior position holders) must reach a unanimous agreement on the penalty before informing the defendant.

If the KJRL  Judiciary Panel pass a sentence greater than that passed by the SCJRL on the same offence, the KJRL sentence will apply. i.e,  If SCJRL pass a sentence of 3 week suspension and the KJRL Judiciary panel hand down a sentence of 4 weeks, the 4 weeks suspension will apply.

All penalties include Games, Training and KJRL events. Any offence not listed in the guideline will still be ruled on using the listed offences as a guide.
